U.S. Energy Partners: Paid Internship
U.S. Energy Partners operates in the competitive retail energy market and sells electricity to businesses from Buffalo to Albany. This is a PAID internship. The intern will work on real projects and interact with Company management and professionals.
Start and end dates: Fall 2017 through Spring 2018
Location: Main Transit area in the Stonegate Office Park; 8205 Main Street Suite 11, Williamsville, NY 14221
Day(s) of the week the intern needs to be on site: To Be Determined and mutually agreed upon; Schedule is flexible to student’s other responsibilities.
How many hours: Flexible. Ideally 6-10 hours per week.
Session(s) for internship: Fall 2017 through Spring 2018; possibly continuing into summer 2018.
Any age requirement: 16
Any course prerequisites: No course prerequisites; an interest in business is preferred.
Specific skills, if any, required: Strong computer skills required; comfortable navigating the internet and finding relevant information; comfortable with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Specific duties: The intern will get an orientation into the electric industry, and gain an understanding of the role the company plays in the industry. The intern will work in the customer service database and will work with the sales team to research businesses and identify prospects.
