Computational Science Workshop

Introducing students to the application of computer modeling and simulation to solve problems in science and engineering.

Start and end dates: July 1- July 12, 2019

Location: SUNY @ Buffalo, Center for Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences (701 Ellicott St. downtown. Buffalo)

Day(s) of the week the intern needs to be on site:  Every day for 2 weeks, except July 4, which is celebrated as a National Holiday

How many hours: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m (6 hours)

Any course prerequisites:  None, but need strong skills in both Math and Science

Specific skills, if any, required:  Strong computer skills

Specific duties: Computational (code writing) with a team of 3-4

Number of interns accommodated per term: One possibly two
